IBAN Name Service
Extend the mobile payment app with a name and IBAN checker to make payments more reliable.Role: research, UX, design, animations
After receiving feedback from Rabobank users and based on personal experience, research was started. The research was conducted through field research, surveys, AB testing and prototype testing using the "Wizard of Oz" method.
The biggest challenge was to keep the balance between privacy and information provision.
Design & UX
The information provision challenge was tackled with a dedicated algorithm and a well designed notification modal.
The product has been implemented in the payment apps of the four largest banks in the Netherlands: ING, Rabobank, SNS and ABN AMRO.
